25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 26 And he ruled over all the kings from the Euphra′tes to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt. 27 And the king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stone, and cedar as plentiful as the sycamore of the Shephe′lah.

New International Version
25 Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots,(A) and twelve thousand horses,[a] which he kept in the chariot cities and also with him in Jerusalem. 26 He ruled(B) over all the kings from the Euphrates River(C) to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt.(D) 27 The king made silver as common in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar as plentiful as sycamore-fig trees in the foothills.
