10 (A)He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. (B)On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. 11 (C)You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf (D)for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.

12 For our boast is this, (E)the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity[a] and (F)godly sincerity, (G)not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.

10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril,(A) and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope(B) that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers.(C) Then many will give thanks(D) on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

12 Now this is our boast: Our conscience(E) testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity[a](F) and godly sincerity.(G) We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom(H) but on God’s grace.
