2 Corinthians 1:10-12

10 Yes, God kept us from what looked like sure death and He is keeping us. As we trust Him, He will keep us in the future. 11 You also help us by praying for us. Many people thank God for His favor to us. This is an answer to the prayers of many people.

12 I am happy to say this. Whatever we did in this world, and for sure when we were with you, we were honest and had pure desires. We did not trust in human wisdom. Our power came from God’s loving-favor.

New International Version
10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril,(A) and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope(B) that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers.(C) Then many will give thanks(D) on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

12 Now this is our boast: Our conscience(E) testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity[a](F) and godly sincerity.(G) We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom(H) but on God’s grace.
