13 For we are writing no other things to you other than the things which you read or indeed understand. And I hope that you will understand until the end[a]— 14 just as you also did understand us in part— that we are your boast, even as you also are ours, on the day of our Lord Jesus.

13 For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that, 14 as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.(A)
