2 Corinthians 1:13-15
International Children’s Bible
13 For we write to you only what you can read and understand. And I hope that 14 as you have understood some things about us, you may come to know everything about us. Then you can be proud of us, as we will be proud of you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
15 I was very sure of all this. That is why I made plans to visit you first. Then you could be blessed twice.

13 For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that, 14 as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.(A)
15 Because I was confident of this, I wanted to visit you(B) first so that you might benefit twice.(C)
