18 Yet those other men keep telling you how wonderful they are, so here I go: 19-20 (You think you are so wise—yet you listen gladly to those fools; you don’t mind at all when they make you their slaves and take everything you have, and take advantage of you, and put on airs, and slap you in the face.

18 Since many are boasting in the way the world does,(A) I too will boast.(B) 19 You gladly put up with(C) fools since you are so wise!(D) 20 In fact, you even put up with(E) anyone who enslaves you(F) or exploits you or takes advantage of you or puts on airs or slaps you in the face.
