10 For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present (A)I need not use (B)severity, in accordance with the (C)authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
11 (D)Finally, brothers and sisters, [a]rejoice, (E)mend your ways, be comforted, (F)be like-minded, (G)live in peace; and (H)the God of love and peace will be with you. 12 (I)Greet one another with a holy kiss.
