Whether ye seek the proof of that Christ, that speaketh in me, which is not feeble in you, [but is mighty in you]?[a]

For though he was crucified of infirmity, but he liveth of the virtue of God. For also we be frail in him [For why and we be sick in him], but we shall live with him of the virtue of God in us.

Assay yourselves, if ye be in the faith; ye yourselves prove. Whether ye know not yourselves, for Christ Jesus is in you? but (it) happens ye be reprovable [no but peradventure, ye be reprovable].

since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me.(A) He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you. For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness,(B) yet he lives by God’s power.(C) Likewise, we are weak(D) in him, yet by God’s power we will live with him(E) in our dealing with you.

Examine yourselves(F) to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.(G) Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you(H)—unless, of course, you fail the test?
