12 This means that death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 (A)The scripture says, “I spoke because I believed.” In the same spirit of faith we also speak because we believe. 14 We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus to life, will also raise us up with Jesus and take us, together with you, into his presence.

12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.(A)
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[a](B) Since we have that same spirit of[b] faith,(C) we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead(D) will also raise us with Jesus(E) and present us with you to himself.(F)
