2 Corinthians 7:10-12
Tree of Life Version
10 For the grief that God wills brings a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret. But the world’s grief brings death. 11 For see what this very thing—this grieving that God wills—has brought you! What diligence, what defense, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what rendering of justice! In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. 12 So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for the sake of the wrongdoer or for the sake of the one who was wronged, but to make known to you your diligence for us in the sight of God.

2 Corinthians 7:10-12
New International Version
10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation(A) and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11 See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern,(B) what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. 12 So even though I wrote to you,(C) it was neither on account of the one who did the wrong(D) nor on account of the injured party, but rather that before God you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are.
