²¹ for we ^(A)respect what is good, not only in ^(B)the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

¹⁵ so that you will be ^(A)blameless and innocent, ^(B)children of God without blemish in the midst of a ^(C)crooked and perverse generation, among whom you ^(D)shine as ^[a]lights in the world,

⁸ sound in word which is irreproachable, so ^(A)that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

¹⁵ For ^[a](A)such is the will of God that by doing good you may ^(B)silence the ignorance of foolish men.

¹⁶ having a ^(A)good conscience so that in the thing in which ^(B)you are slandered, those who disparage your good conduct in Christ will be put to shame.
