2 Corinthians 9:2-4
Lexham English Bible
2 because I know your readiness to help, concerning which I keep on boasting to the Macedonians about you, that Achaia has been ready to help since last year, and your zeal has stirred up the majority of them. 3 But I am sending the brothers in order that our boasting about you would not prove to be empty in this case, so that you may be prepared just as I was saying, 4 lest somehow if Macedonians should come with me and find you unprepared, we—not to speak of you[a]—would be humiliated in connection with this project.

2 Corinthians 9:2-4
New International Version
2 For I know your eagerness to help,(A) and I have been boasting(B) about it to the Macedonians, telling them that since last year(C) you in Achaia(D) were ready to give; and your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action. 3 But I am sending the brothers(E) in order that our boasting about you in this matter should not prove hollow, but that you may be ready, as I said you would be.(F) 4 For if any Macedonians(G) come with me and find you unprepared, we—not to say anything about you—would be ashamed of having been so confident.
