for I know your willingness, of which I (A)boast about you to the (B)Macedonians, namely, that (C)Achaia has been prepared since (D)last year, and your zeal has stirred up most of them. But I have sent the brothers, in order that our (E)boasting about you may not prove empty in this case, so that, (F)as I was saying, you will be prepared; otherwise, if any (G)Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we—not to mention you—would be put to shame by this confidence.

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.
