^8 [a]But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ ^[b]palaces!

⁶ John was clothed with camel’s hair and wore ^(A)a leather belt around his waist, and ^[a]his diet was locusts and wild honey.
