Jehu Falters in His Faithfulness
29 But when it came to the sins which Jeroboam son of Nebat caused Israel to commit, Jehu did not turn aside from following the golden calves which were in Bethel and in Dan. 30 But the Lord said to Jehu, “Because you have done well by doing what is right in my eyes—you have done everything that was in my heart to the house of Ahab—four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.”
31 But Jehu was not careful to walk in the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn from the sins which Jeroboam caused Israel to commit.

New International Version
29 However, he did not turn away from the sins(A) of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit—the worship of the golden calves(B) at Bethel(C) and Dan.
30 The Lord said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in accomplishing what is right in my eyes and have done to the house of Ahab all I had in mind to do, your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”(D) 31 Yet Jehu was not careful(E) to keep the law of the Lord, the God of Israel, with all his heart. He did not turn away from the sins(F) of Jeroboam, which he had caused Israel to commit.
