Shallum Reigns in Israel

¹³ Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of ^(A)Uzziah^[a] king of Judah, and he reigned one month in ^(B)Samaria.

³⁰ Then Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah and struck him down and put him to death and reigned in his place, ^(A)in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

Jotham Reigns in Judah

³² In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, began to reign.

³⁴ And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, ^(A)according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

Uzziah Reigns in Judah

26 And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.
