5 (A)And the Lord touched the king, so that he was a leper[a] to the day of his death, (B)and he lived in a separate house.[b] And Jotham the king's son was over the household, governing the people of the land. 6 Now the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? 7 And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers (C)in the city of David, and Jotham his son reigned in his place.

New International Version
5 The Lord afflicted(A) the king with leprosy[a] until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house.[b](B) Jotham(C) the king’s son had charge of the palace(D) and governed the people of the land.
6 As for the other events of Azariah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? 7 Azariah rested(E) with his ancestors and was buried near them in the City of David. And Jotham(F) his son succeeded him as king.
