The rest of the events of Azariah’s reign, along with all his accomplishments, are written in the Historical Record of Judah’s Kings.(A) Azariah rested with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Jotham became king in his place.(B)

Israel’s King Zechariah

In the thirty-eighth year of Judah’s King Azariah, Zechariah(C) son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria for six months.

As for the other events of Azariah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? Azariah rested(A) with his ancestors and was buried near them in the City of David. And Jotham(B) his son succeeded him as king.

Zechariah King of Israel

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned six months.
