17 King Ahaz cut off the side panels and removed the basins from the movable stands. He removed the Sea from the bronze bulls that supported it and set it on a stone base.(A)

The basin was on top of them and all their hindquarters were toward the center. 5 The basin was three inches[a] thick, and its rim was fashioned like the brim of a cup or a lily blossom.
