⁸ Ahaz also ^(A)took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasures of the king's house and sent a present to the king of Assyria.

¹⁵ And Hezekiah ^(A)gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king's house. ¹⁶ At that time Hezekiah stripped the gold from the doors of the temple of the Lord and from the doorposts that Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid and gave it to the king of Assyria.

¹⁸ Then Asa took all the silver and the gold ^(A)that were left in the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the king's house and gave them into the hands of his servants. ^(B)And King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, ^(C)who lived in Damascus, saying,
