15 (A)They rejected His statutes and (B)His covenant which He made with their fathers, and His warnings which He [a]gave them. And (C)they followed [b]idols and (D)became empty, and followed the nations that surrounded them, about which the (E)Lord had commanded them not to do as they did.

New International Version
15 They rejected his decrees and the covenant(A) he had made with their ancestors and the statutes he had warned them to keep. They followed worthless idols(B) and themselves became worthless.(C) They imitated the nations(D) around them although the Lord had ordered them, “Do not do as they do.”
