Hezekiah Prays to Yahweh
14 Hezekiah took the letters from the hand of the messengers and read them. Then he went up to the temple of Yahweh, and Hezekiah spread them out before the presence of Yahweh. 15 Then Hezekiah prayed before the face of Yahweh and said, “O Yahweh, God of Israel who lives above the cherubim. You are God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the world; you have made the heavens and the earth. 16 Incline your ears and hear; open, O Yahweh, your eyes and see and hear the words of Sennacherib which he has sent to insult the living God.

Hezekiah’s Prayer(A)
14 Hezekiah received the letter(B) from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord. 15 And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim,(C) you alone(D) are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth. 16 Give ear,(E) Lord, and hear;(F) open your eyes,(G) Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to ridicule the living God.
