^4 (A)Perhaps the Lord your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent ^(B)to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for ^(C)the remnant that is left.’”

²² So the Lord ^(A)saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria and from the hand of all others, and ^[a]guided them on every side. ²³ And ^(B)many were bringing gifts to the Lord at Jerusalem and choice presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that ^(C)he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.
