6 And Elijah said to him, “Please (A)stay here, for the Lord has sent me to (B)the Jordan.” But he said, “As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.
7 Now (C)fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood opposite them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. 8 And Elijah (D)took his coat, folded it, and (E)struck the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here;(A) the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.”(B)
And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.”(C) So the two of them walked on.
7 Fifty men from the company of the prophets went and stood at a distance, facing the place where Elijah and Elisha had stopped at the Jordan. 8 Elijah took his cloak,(D) rolled it up and struck(E) the water with it. The water divided(F) to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry(G) ground.
