13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line [a]of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem, as a man wipeth a dish, which he wipeth, and turneth it upside down.
14 And I will forsake the [b]remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies, and they shall be robbed and spoiled of all their adversaries,
15 Because they have done evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the time their fathers came out of Egypt until this day.

New International Version
13 I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line used against Samaria and the plumb line(A) used against the house of Ahab. I will wipe(B) out Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. 14 I will forsake(C) the remnant(D) of my inheritance and give them into the hands of enemies. They will be looted and plundered by all their enemies; 15 they have done evil(E) in my eyes and have aroused(F) my anger from the day their ancestors came out of Egypt until this day.”
