2 Kings 23:26-28

26 But the Lord continued to be angry with the people of Judah. The wicked things that King Manasseh did had made him very angry. 27 So the Lord said, ‘I will also send Judah away from me, as I sent Israel away. I will refuse to stay in Jerusalem and in my temple. I chose the city to be my home and the place where people would worship me. But now I will leave there. ’
King Josiah dies
28 The other things that happened while Josiah was king are written in a book. The book is called ‘The history of Judah's kings’. It tells about the things that Josiah did.

New International Version
26 Nevertheless, the Lord did not turn away from the heat of his fierce anger,(A) which burned against Judah because of all that Manasseh(B) had done to arouse his anger. 27 So the Lord said, “I will remove(C) Judah also from my presence(D) as I removed Israel, and I will reject(E) Jerusalem, the city I chose, and this temple, about which I said, ‘My Name shall be there.’[a]”
28 As for the other events of Josiah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
