⁹ Jehoiachin did ·what the Lord said was wrong [^Levil in the eyes/sight of the Lord], just as his father had done.

¹⁰ At that time the officers of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up to Jerusalem. When they reached the city, they ·attacked [besieged] it. ¹¹ Nebuchadnezzar himself came to the city while his officers were ·attacking [besieging] it.
