20 Nebuzaradan led them all to Riblah 21 near Hamath, where Nebuchadnezzar had them killed.
Most of the people of Judah had been carried away as captives from their own country.
Gedaliah Is Made Ruler of the People Left in Judah

22 (A) King Nebuchadnezzar appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam[a] to rule the few people still living in Judah.

New International Version
20 Nebuzaradan the commander took them all and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. 21 There at Riblah,(A) in the land of Hamath, the king had them executed.(B)
So Judah went into captivity,(C) away from her land.(D)
22 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon appointed Gedaliah(E) son of Ahikam,(F) the son of Shaphan, to be over the people he had left behind in Judah.
