Jehoiachin Released^(A)

²⁷ In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon, he released Jehoiachin^(B) king of Judah from prison. He did this on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month.

³¹ In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin^(B) king of Judah, in the year Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon, on the twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month, he released Jehoiachin king of Judah and freed him from prison.

¹⁹ Within three days^(A) Pharaoh will lift off your head^(B) and impale your body on a pole.^(C) And the birds will eat away your flesh.”^(D)

²⁰ Now the third day^(E) was Pharaoh’s birthday,^(F) and he gave a feast for all his officials.^(G) He lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker^(H) in the presence of his officials:
