7 They slaughtered Zedekiah’s sons before his eyes. Finally, the king of Babylon blinded Zedekiah, bound him in bronze chains, and took him to Babylon.(A)
Jerusalem Destroyed
8 On(B) the seventh day of the fifth month—which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon—Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guards, a servant of the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem.(C) 9 He burned the Lord’s temple,(D) the king’s palace,(E) and all the houses of Jerusalem; he burned down(F) all the great houses.

New International Version
7 They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.(A)
8 On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem. 9 He set fire(B) to the temple of the Lord, the royal palace and all the houses of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down.(C)
