14 So Naaman went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, according to the command of the man of God. Then his skin was restored and became like the skin of a small boy, and he was clean.(A)

15 Then Naaman and his whole company went back to the man of God, stood before him, and declared, “I know there’s no God in the whole world except in Israel.(B) Therefore, please accept a gift(C) from your servant.”

16 But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives,(D) I stand before Him. I will not accept it.”(E) Naaman urged him to accept it, but he refused.

15 Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God(D). He stood before him and said, “Now I know(E) that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift(F) from your servant.”

16 The prophet answered, “As surely as the Lord lives, whom I serve, I will not accept a thing.” And even though Naaman urged him, he refused.(G)
