20 When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said, “(A)Lord, open the eyes of these men, so that they may see.” So the Lord opened their eyes, and they saw; and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria. 21 Then the king of Israel when he saw them, said to Elisha, “(B)My father, shall I [a]kill them? Shall I [b]kill them?” 22 But he [c]answered, “You shall not [d]kill them. Would you [e](C)kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? (D)Set bread and water before them, so that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.”

21 When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them, my father?(A) Shall I kill them?”

22 “Do not kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill those you have captured(B) with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master.”
