7 And you shall strike the house of Ahab your master, (A)that I may avenge (B)the blood of My slaves the prophets, and the blood of all the slaves of Yahweh, (C)at the hand of Jezebel. 8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and (D)I will cut off from Ahab (E)every [a]male person (F)both bond and free in Israel. 9 (G)And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and (H)like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

7 You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge(A) the blood of my servants(B) the prophets and the blood of all the Lord’s servants shed by Jezebel.(C) 8 The whole house(D) of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab every last male(E) in Israel—slave or free.[a] 9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam(F) son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha(G) son of Ahijah.
