⁴¹ So they all blessed the ways of the Lord, the righteous judge, who reveals the things that are hidden,^(A)

⁷ He found the nights most advantageous for such attacks. And talk of his valor spread everywhere.^(A)

¹⁵ He gave his troops the watchword, “God’s victory,” and with a picked force of the bravest young men, he attacked the king’s pavilion at night and killed as many as two thousand men in the camp. He stabbed^[a] the leading elephant and its rider.^(A)

³² And since he is a righteous judge, in due time he took from you what he had given.^(A)
