2 Peter 3:9-11

9 (A)The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but (B)is patient toward you, (C)not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
A New Heaven and Earth
10 But (D)the day of the Lord (E)will come like a thief, in which (F)the heavens (G)will pass away with a roar and the (H)elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and (I)the earth and [a]its works will be [b]burned up.
11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

New International Version
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,(A) as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient(B) with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.(C)
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief.(D) The heavens will disappear with a roar;(E) the elements will be destroyed by fire,(F) and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a](G)
11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
