3 David sent and inquired about the woman. One said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
4 And David sent messengers and took her. And she came in to him, and he lay with her—for she was purified from her uncleanness. Then she returned to her house.
5 And the woman became pregnant and sent and told David, I am with child.

New International Version
3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba,(A) the daughter of Eliam(B) and the wife of Uriah(C) the Hittite.” 4 Then David sent messengers to get her.(D) She came to him, and he slept(E) with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.)(F) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.”
