13 (A)David said to Nathan, (B)“I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David, (C)“The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. 14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly (D)scorned the Lord,[a] the child who is born to you shall die.”

Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away(B) your sin.(C) You are not going to die.(D) 14 But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for[a] the Lord,(E) the son born to you will die.”
