2 Samuel 12:24-26

24 David consoled Bathsheba his wife, and he went to her and slept with her. She bore a son, and he called[a] him Solomon, and Yahweh loved him. 25 He sent word by the hand of Nathan the prophet, so he called him Jedidiah[b] because of Yahweh.

26 And Joab fought against Rabbah of the Ammonites,[c] and he captured the royal city.[d]

New International Version
24 Then David comforted his wife Bathsheba,(A) and he went to her and made love to her. She gave birth to a son, and they named him Solomon.(B) The Lord loved him; 25 and because the Lord loved him, he sent word through Nathan the prophet to name him Jedidiah.[a](C)
26 Meanwhile Joab fought against Rabbah(D) of the Ammonites and captured the royal citadel.
