5 Then the anger of David was kindled[a] against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As Yahweh lives,[b] the man who has done this deserves to die![c] 6 He shall restore the ewe lamb fourfold because he has done this thing, and because he had no pity.” 7 Then Nathan said to him, “You are the man! Thus says Yahweh the God of Israel: ‘I anointed you as king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul.

5 David(A) burned with anger(B) against the man(C) and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives,(D) the man who did this must die! 6 He must pay for that lamb four times over,(E) because he did such a thing and had no pity.”
