2 Samuel 17:6-8

6 When Hushai had come to Absalom, Absalom said to [a]him, “Ahithophel has [b]proposed this plan. Should we [c]carry out his plan? If not, say so yourself.” 7 So Hushai said to Absalom, “(A)This time the advice that Ahithophel has [d]given is not good.” 8 Then Hushai said, “You yourself know your father and his men, that they are warriors and they are [e]fierce, (B)like a bear deprived of her cubs in the field. And your father is an [f]expert in warfare, and he will not spend the night with the people.

6 When Hushai came to him, Absalom said, “Ahithophel has given this advice. Should we do what he says? If not, give us your opinion.”
7 Hushai replied to Absalom, “The advice Ahithophel has given is not good this time. 8 You know your father and his men; they are fighters, and as fierce as a wild bear robbed of her cubs.(A) Besides, your father is an experienced fighter;(B) he will not spend the night with the troops.
