2 Samuel 19:26-28
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised
26 He answered, ‘My lord, O king, my servant deceived me; for your servant said to him, “Saddle a donkey for me,[a] so that I may ride on it and go with the king.” For your servant is lame. 27 He has slandered your servant to my lord the king. But my lord the king is like the angel of God; do therefore what seems good to you. 28 For all my father’s house were doomed to death before my lord the king; but you set your servant among those who eat at your table. What further right have I, then, to appeal to the king?’

2 Samuel 19:26-28
New International Version
26 He said, “My lord the king, since I your servant am lame,(A) I said, ‘I will have my donkey saddled and will ride on it, so I can go with the king.’ But Ziba(B) my servant betrayed me. 27 And he has slandered your servant to my lord the king. My lord the king is like an angel(C) of God; so do whatever you wish. 28 All my grandfather’s descendants deserved nothing but death(D) from my lord the king, but you gave your servant a place among those who eat at your table.(E) So what right do I have to make any more appeals to the king?”
