¹⁶ The valleys of the sea were exposed
    and the foundations of the earth laid bare
at the rebuke^(A) of the Lord,
    at the blast^(B) of breath from his nostrils.

⁹ At the breath of God^(A) they perish;
    at the blast of his anger they are no more.^(B)

³⁰ He will not escape the darkness;^(A)
    a flame^(B) will wither his shoots,^(C)
    and the breath of God’s mouth^(D) will carry him away.^(E)

⁴ The Spirit^(A) of God has made me;^(B)
    the breath of the Almighty^(C) gives me life.^(D)

¹⁰ The breath of God produces ice,
    and the broad waters become frozen.^(A)
