²⁸You save the humble,^(A)
but your eyes are on the haughty^(B) to bring them low.^(C)

²⁸And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.

²⁸You will save the ^(A)humble^[a] people;
But Your eyes are on ^(B)the haughty, that You may bring them down.

¹¹Unleash the fury of your wrath,^(A)
look at all who are proud and bring them low,^(B)

¹¹Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

¹¹Disperse the rage of your wrath;
Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him.
