²⁰ And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. And he said, “The Lord has burst through my enemies before me like a bursting flood.” ^(A)Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim.^[a]

³ therefore thus says the Lord God: ^(A)Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will bring up ^(B)many nations against you, ^(C)as the sea brings up its waves.
