⁷Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion, ^(A)that is, the city of David.

⁷Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion^(A)—which is the City of David.^(B)

⁷Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.

²The Lord sends forth ^(A)from Zion
^(B)your mighty scepter.
^(C)Rule in the midst of your enemies!

²The Lord will extend your mighty scepter^(A) from Zion,^(B) saying,
“Rule^(C) in the midst of your enemies!”

²The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
