14 Now David, wearing a linen ephod, was dancing with all his strength before the Lord.[a] 15 David and all Israel[b] were bringing up the ark of the Lord, shouting and blowing trumpets.[c]
16 As the ark of the Lord entered the City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked out the window. When she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him.[d]

14 Wearing a linen ephod,(A) David was dancing(B) before the Lord with all his might, 15 while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts(C) and the sound of trumpets.(D)
16 As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David,(E) Michal(F) daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart.
