3 They set the ark of God on a new cart and transported it from Abinadab’s house, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio,[a] sons of Abinadab, were guiding the cart(A) 4 and brought it with the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on the hill. Ahio walked in front of the ark. 5 David and the whole house of Israel were celebrating before the Lord with all kinds of fir wood instruments,[b] lyres, harps, tambourines, sistrums,[c] and cymbals.(B)

New International Version
3 They set the ark of God on a new cart(A) and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill.(B) Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart 4 with the ark of God on it,[a] and Ahio was walking in front of it. 5 David and all Israel were celebrating(C) with all their might before the Lord, with castanets,[b] harps, lyres, timbrels, sistrums and cymbals.(D)
