^12 (A)When your days are finished and you ^[a](B)lie down with your fathers, ^(C)I will raise up your ^[b]descendant after you, who will come from ^[c]you, and I will establish his kingdom. ^13 (D)He shall build a house for My name, and ^(E)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

¹² He shall build for Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.

^10 (A)He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

⁶ He said to me, ‘Your son ^(A)Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courtyards; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a Father to him.

⁴ Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, dedicating it to Him, ^(A)to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out ^(B)the showbread continually, and to offer ^(C)burnt offerings morning and evening, ^(D)on Sabbaths, on new moons, and on the appointed feasts of the Lord our God. This is to be done in Israel forever.
