4 But that night the word of the Lord came to Nathan. He said, 5 “Go and tell my servant David all these things.”

This is what the Lord says. Are you the one to build a house for me to live in? 6 I have not lived in a house from the day I brought the people of Israel up from Egypt until today. I have been moving around in the Tent and the Dwelling.
