The Voice
12 Aram, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, and Amalek, including the spoil from Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
13 David’s exploits improved his reputation. After his return, he went to war with the Edomites,[a] killing 18,000 in the valley of Salt. 14 David set up outposts throughout the land of Edom. All the Edomites became servants of David, and the Eternal One helped David wherever he went.

New International Version
12 Edom[a](A) and Moab,(B) the Ammonites(C) and the Philistines,(D) and Amalek.(E) He also dedicated the plunder taken from Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
13 And David became famous(F) after he returned from striking down eighteen thousand Edomites[b] in the Valley of Salt.(G)
14 He put garrisons throughout Edom, and all the Edomites(H) became subject to David.(I) The Lord gave David victory(J) wherever he went.(K)
